I wish my hand wasn’t in this picture but she jumped forward and I was afraid she was going to fall off the couch. It’s such a great picture of her smiling – I had to use this one as her monthly pic!
Selah’s schedule for feeding is still the same. She nurses at 7, 11, 3, and 7. And she has solid meals after all the feedings except the 3. Starting this month I will start the transition to get her to 3 meals. This is a slow transition. I can hardly believe I have successfully breastfed Selah for 6 months! We are gonna keep going until it doesn’t make sense anymore. For now, it’s so easy and we have pushed through all the troubles we had.
At her 6 month check up she was 16 lbs 2 oz. All her stats were great!
Well the swaddle blanket is officially done. Makes me so sad 😦 But Selah is getting a little better with naps. Most days she will take 2 naps. They are only around an hour a piece. But she is taking them! And at night she goes down hard at 7:00 pm and gets up around 6:45 or 7:00 am. She still will randomly wake sometime in the night but she does get herself back to sleep most nights.
Selah discovered the jumper this month. And man, she loves it. She will jump and jump and jump. Here’s a picture of how happy she is in it.
Selah is in some 3 month and some 6 month clothes. Still in between sizes depending on the brand 🙂
Selah had her first tooth break through this past week. And I see 3 more that are about to pop through. Two on the top and two on the bottom.
Happy half birthday Selah Grace!
